UseNet Newsgroup Hierarchies

UseNet News is divided into Hierarchies  to spread out the various subjects,
and to help the user in  categorizing the news.  There are three main groups
of hierarchies: Mainstream, Alternative, and Pseudo. Another is Subscription
Services - Reuters, ClariNews, etc. - and we have created  special ones just
for use on this BBS:

sysop     Special Hierarchy - for communicating with the SYSOP.

Here is a list of the MAINSTREAM Hierarchies:

Check ot the "Listing of  all Newsgroups" bulletin for a list of all of the
news groups that can be selected.  This list should really be updated every
few minutes, but that would be impossible. If you really want to know about
all of the  available news,  become a member  and see all of the changes as
they occur!
